The Austrian group of European Management Assistants was founded in 1994 by Brigitte Auinger in Linz, Upper Austria. Soon afterwards the first members from Vienna joined EUMA Austria.

Today, there are members all over Austria, mainly in the cities Vienna, Linz, Salzburg and Bregenz.
