History and organisation

EAPS Iceland, now EUMA - European Management Assistants, was founded in November 1983, and the group had only around ten members when the first EAPS annual conference in Iceland was organised and hosted in Reykjavík in 1986.In 1999, the 25th annual conference of EUMA was held in Iceland with 300 participants. The first edition of our yearly newsletter, in Brief from Iceland, was published in February 1991. The editorial committee consists of three members and the National PR Officer acts as the National Committee representative. The name of the magazine was changed in 1999 to Impetus.
