History

The Greek group was founded in 1982 and following recent legislation requirements and according to the Greek law (Court of the First Instance, Decision NR 5550/96), the Greek Group of European Management Assistants is the only officially acknowledged Association of the profession in Greece.

Our members represent many of the major companies in Greece and our team is fully consistent with the finding reputable institutions of our country that the Organizations / Companies have a dire need, in the framework of a globalized market, to employ qualified assistants with certified expertise, skills and abilities.

Organisation

EUMA Greece organizes various activities for the members, such as seminars, training days, speeches, hotel tours, business, cultural or just socially events, etc. Working meetings every two months help the members communicating with each other and with the group activities. The meetings are usually held in various hotel conference rooms.

In order to manage our activities and to allow our members to acquire experience as well, we have established the following committees :

  • Seminars/Education Committee
  • Committee for Professional Matters
  • Impetus and Press Committee
  • New Members' Committee
  • Social Activities Committee
  • Bazaar Committee - organizes an annual Bazaar held at Christmas time.
